Coming from Munich, take the A99 motorway to the south-east
Take the exit towards M3 and continue right at the fork onto M3
To stay on M3, take the 2nd exit at the roundabout
After 1.4km keep right at the fork and follow the signs for München-Nord/Unterföhring/A9
Turn left onto Ungererstraße/B11
Turn right towards Schenkendorfstraße/B2R
Take the A95/A96/Lindau/Garmisch-Partenkirchen slip road
Keep left to stay on Schenkendorfstraße/B2R
Continue on A95/E533 (signposted Garmisch-Partenkirchen/Starnberg)
Continue on B2 until exit B23 (Fernpass/Reutte/Grainau/Garmisch) and follow B23
After 3.4 km turn left onto Kreuzstraße and a short time later turn right to stay on Kreuzstraße.
The Hotel Almenrausch and Edelweiß are located on the left-hand side
